From the time Misty was a little girl, she was drawn to music—from the songs she learned to sing at church to those she heard when she was glued to the TV watching “Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters.” She Could often be found sitting on the floor of her parents’ bedroom, sifting through their record albums—classic country for her mom and classic rock for her dad. When she got her very own record player one Christmas, she was lining her Barbie dolls up so they could “sing solos” to whatever song was playing. When she took her first piano lesson at age ten, she was soon playing for her church congregation.
Misty loves connecting with an audience and seeing the joy that music brings to their faces. She performs many genres of music in various venues—restaurants, weddings, receptions, worship services, community events, senior centers, youth events, women’s groups, and more.
